Fiberglass Biaxial Cloth (+-45°)

Biaxial glass fiber fabric (±45°) is a twist-free structural reinforcement fabric made of two layers of glass fiber roving laid at angles of +45° and –45°, respectively, and sewn together with polyester sutures. It is a type of multiaxial stitched fabric. Its unique angular structure significantly enhances the shear strength and deformation resistance of composite materials.

Material properties

Shear enhancement

The ±45° structure is specially designed to withstand in-plane shear forces, improving the overall torsion and deformation resistance of the component. It is suitable for structural parts with complex shear stress, such as wind turbine blade shells, hull bending areas, etc.

Structural stability

Stitching fixation, no adhesive, the layer is not easy to shift, the precise angle improves the layering efficiency and forming stability, suitable for automatic layering and large composite structural parts

Resin infiltration

No emulsion/powder, loose fiber structure, conducive to resin penetration, reduce bubbles, and improve interlayer bonding strength

Interlayer bonding

The staggered laying with 0°/90° layers can form a three-dimensional reinforcement system to improve the overall structural strength and enhance fatigue resistance.

VOC environmental protection

Contains no binder and releases no harmful gases during the molding process, which complies with green manufacturing and environmental protection requirements.
