Fiberglass Continuous Mat

A reinforced glass fiber mat made of continuous filaments randomly laid into a mesh structure by air conveying or mechanical means and bonded with a powder or emulsion binder. It is different from traditional chopped strand mats and has better strength, uniformity and hydrolysis resistance. It is widely used in industrial applications such as sheet molding (SMC/BMC), pultrusion, winding and hot pressing.

Material properties

Uniformity

The thickness of the felt layer is uniform, the fiber distribution is stable, and the gram weight is precisely controlled to improve the dimensional consistency and physical properties of the molded products.

Wettability

The continuous fibers are well arranged and can be quickly wetted by the resin, accelerating the resin penetration and reducing white spots and bubbles.

Surface quality

The fibers are fine and uniform, and the surface is smooth and flat after molding, and the finished product is beautiful, with no fibers floating out, which is convenient for subsequent spraying and laminating.
